You can introduce your children to the audio version of Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series with the  first of the talking stories for kids, The Lightning Thief, which has been enormously popular with the middle school students. The classic Charlotte’s Web 50th Anniversary Retrospective Edition audiobook version is actually read by the author, E.B. White, and is exactly 3.5 hours long. This classic children’s  story of friendship and loyalty first published in 1952, is the heartwarming and touching tale of a little girl, an adorable little pig who needs help to not end up in the slaughterhouse, and a  remarkable, talented spider, as well as much, much more. Highly recommended for 7 to 10 year-olds.

A Bear Called Paddington is a story of a little bear from the darkest corner of Peru who gets to travel to England and find himself on Paddington Station. This is a classic, heartwarming tale which audiobook version your whole family is sure to enjoy. The little bear is eventually adopted by the Brown family and is given a name Paddington. Paddington gets into all kinds of comical amusing difficulties and troubles, and the Browns find their lives turned upside down by all these adventures. This children’s audio book version is read by a well known actor and comedian Stephen Fry, whose proper English accent and sympathetic and creative reading of the book make it a delight. The book is recommended for ages 5-9.
