Child Physical Development
Child physical development differs depending on how old your child is. In the earlier stages children spend a lot of time perfecting their gross motor skills. As they become more proficient in learning how to use their bodies, they start practicing their fine motor skills.
Child Physical Development
There are five developmental levels in child physical development.
- Infant
- Toddler
- Preschooler

- Teen
- Give your child plenty of opportunities to play outside
- Encourage your child to play on a variety of playground equipment
- Teach your child to sew or weave, or engage in other crafts
- Young children can greatly improve their fine motor coordination by using Montessori Practical Life materials.
